This is the pretty little thing I'm talking about....what? You don't see it? No? How can you not love this? hmmm....
I keep telling myself that I'm NOT going to bring home anymore furniture to re-do for my sale in Nov. - yet, I keep finding more that I have to have. This was one of them. Last week my husband calls me up on his way to work and says, "Get the little one up & dressed and head to this sale. I see furniture." I keep reminding him that if he doesn't want me to bring more furniture into this house, then he can't tell me about these sales, because let's face it, if you're gonna tell me about them, then that's permission to BUY! Am I right? (and don't complain either) Sheeeeesh!
So I head to this sale and buy up the great deals, pack my van full and call it good for the rest of the weekend because it was just that much stuff.
Some things that I bring home can take me a little while (or a long while in most cases) to get the vision for their new life. Not this one. I knew exactly what I wanted to do for her reincarnation. I don't think it was a huge endeavor and clearly not brilliant, but makes her just a tad more desirable than before.
This is the design I chose to do for the top.
I used my Cricut to cut the design using contact paper. It can be pretty tricky to use, especially with a cut this size that was 23 1/2" long & trying to curl up on me. I'm actually surprised the darned thing turned out a good as it did.
